Quality and environment

Bällsta Mekaniska are specialists in machining on CNC- lathes. As problem solving is one of our main slogans, we can with our long-standing experience and modern machinery make your ideas and sketches into reality.

We will comply with applicable laws and in our efforts for continuous improvements and pollution prevention, we undertake the following;


We work according to the ISO 9001 and ISO 14000 and have certification since 1997 and 2012. We undertake the following;

• High precision: we offer our customers cutting and milling high-precision parts at competitive prices.

• Reliable delivery: we set up for our customers' demands for quality and are quick to deliver. We also take great care in the delivery of products to strive for zero defects.

• Flexibility: everyone in the company is flexible and takes responsibility for the quality.


Environmental work has always been close to our hearts and we are actively working to integrate environmental activities as a natural part of our daily work, with the target to continously reduce our environmental impact.

• Waste: to reduce the amount of waste we try to optimize the use of materials in production. The waste that do occur are sorted and in some cases sold back to our material suppliers.

• Chemicals: we strive to use chemicals with as minimal environmental and health impact as possible.

• Energy: Energy is required for us to operate the business. By turning off machines not used, plan production and turn off the lights, we try to conserve energy.

• Work environment: without healthy and dedicated staff, we can not meet our customers' requirements and preferences. Therefore, we encourage a healthy work environment that does not expose personnel to illness or accident.

• Preventing accidents: to prevent accidents we do yearly safety inspections to identify any health and safety risks. The deficiencies arising are corrected and actions are followed up before they are removed from the list.

• Corporate health services: as we care about the health of our personnel, we are connected to corporate health services and offers staff health surveys.

• Participation: we try to make the staff involved in the work through regular internal meetings with all staff.
